Time is going by so quickly!! Today was week 4 in the summer course! It was a lovely class today with 9 kids and their mothers. I really enjoyed seeing the kids tap rhythms on their legs and dance energetically around the room.
It's always fun using the silk scarves in class and today we used them to dance to a song in asymmetric meter - a song with 5 beats per bar. We also enjoyed playing with the rhythm sticks and beating different rhythms on the ground.
We will have week 5 next week on 8/9 and then have a short break until 8/30.
